First, we want to know how you are doing and if you are feeling well.
When we call to confirm your upcoming appointment, we will ask if you are feeling ill, or if you have been traveling recently. If you feel that you don’t really need to see me in person, or you are self-isolating, and you would prefer that I call you, just let us know. I would just ask that you let us know when would be a good time for me to call, that would be helpful.
We ask that you to wear a mask so you will be safe while traveling outside your home. We would also ask that you come by yourself if possible, or to bring only one person with you if you need to. This is to keep the number of people in the clinic as low as possible.
Before you get here, everything in the whole office will be scrubbed and sanitized. This will be done regularly through each day, and we will sanitize the examination room after every patient.
When you get here, you will notice that the main door is open, and that the chairs in the Reception are all spaced 2 metres apart. There will be markings on the floor to show where you can stand. All of the staff will be wearing masks, and there will be hand sanitizer for you to use. Everything that you touch or touches you will be sanitized. The only thing that will not be cold and sanitized is our compassion and concern for your well-being.
For those who are interested in cosmetic and laser procedures, unfortunately we will not be able to offer these services until Alberta enters Phase 2 of the Relaunch. We are hopeful that it will not be too long before we can provide that service for you.
We have no idea how long this pandemic will last. However, you can be sure that we will be here for you for as long as it takes.
